What to Expect During Your Initial Design Consultation

Our first step is a complimentary 15 minute Discovery Call, where we will chat about your space, discuss your goals and ensure we are a great fit! After that we will schedule the Design Consultation.

During the Consultation we will review your client intake form, conduct a site evaluation, and do some basic design planning. You should also expect a discussion about budget; must haves and wishlist, as well as the Design Process Vine To Branch follows to ensure a beautiful reveal!

• Discuss Your Vision: We will chat about your style preferences and review the client intake form. We will also discuss how you use the space, your needs and what you hope it will feel like when it is complete.

• Site Evaluation: I will take a closer look at your space to understand its potential. This includes assessing the layout, flow, lighting, and any existing features we can highlight or work around. I will also take basic measurements, notes and some photographs.

• Design Planning: This is where I gather even more insight into your lifestyle and design needs to create a plan that’s perfectly tailored to you. We explore your style preferences, functional needs, and overall vision to develop a cohesive plan. We will discuss layouts and focal points and may delve into colour palettes and materials. This step lays the foundation for a thoughtful and inspired design that reflects you and your space, and ensures I am able to set forth a vision with the design.

• Review Of Budget: We will discuss budget so I can help you prioritize your goals while staying within a budget that feels comfortable for you.

• The Vine to Branch Process: I will explain our design process and what you can expect moving forward and you will leave with a list of tailored ideas to your home.

By the end of our consultation, you will have clarity about how we can work together to bring your dream space to life. This is a great opportunity to determine if you would like to work together and move forward with any of the design packages we offer, or it will give you the confidence you need to DIY your updates!

Your investment for the initial design consultation is $300 (plus hst) and it includes 2 hours of focused time to discuss your vision and needs.
